About the Lesson
When moving data or information from one application to another, it is imperative to ensure the flow of data is correctly mapped from one step to the next in the recipe. Incorrectly mapped data can lead to inconsistent, corrupt and incorrect data or actions.
In this lesson, you will delve into the process of navigating a data tree to access various data pills and learn how to map the flow of data between steps of a recipe. During this process you will also learn the different data types available in Workato and how to use formulas for basic transformations e.g. converting from timestamp to date or formatting date values.
